Sunday mornings is the time the whole church family comes together for our main service of the week. Everybody is welcome.
The service starts at 10:30am and lasts approximately 1 hour.

After the service, refreshments are available and everybody is welcome to stay and chat; it is a great opportunity to get to know each other.
General format of our services
IntroductionOur service starts with a time of praise, an introduction of the theme and family time worship.

WorshipWorship at Kempston East includes both traditional and contemporary hymns and songs.
The children leave for Sunday Club midway through the service. |
SermonThe preacher will give the sermon, often drawing on 2 Bible readings, based on the general theme and will highlight how we can apply God's Word to our lives.

Prayer TeamAfter each service, our prayer team are available in the West Porch to pray with you and for you about anything large or small.

Parade ServiceWe are also pleased to welcome the Boys Brigade and Girls Brigade for their parade services at Kempston East twice a year.

Communion
Communion is a very symbolic act in the Methodist Church where we eat and drink bread and wine to symbolise the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ who died for our sins.
We hold a communion service once a month on Sunday mornings.
